Hi there! I was just wondering....did you write a fanfiction story called "Prisoner of Love"? And if you did, was it about Jareth kidnapping Sarah from her wedding? I had added it as a favorite on fanfiction.net and can no longer find it...not really even sure if it was you. If it was, do you still have it on a website where it can still be read? If not you, so sorry to have bothered you. Hope to hear from you soon....and thanks in advance!
~Angie

Hi Angie! Yes, I wrote that story. I had some trouble over at ff.net after I changed my name to fraggin'aarvark. Basically some troll decided to use The Hooded Crow as their username, and caused me a lot of problems. I guess the moral to the story is - never change your username! That said, I intended to go through the story and re-write it, as I think I've improved quite a bit since then, and I still haven't got round to doing that. I don't think it's up anywhere else, but as soon as I'm happy with it again, I'll put it back up. It may take me a while - don't hold your breath.

I really hope you'll re-post Prisoner of Love, my friend and I still talk about how great it was. This is just one person's opinion, but I can't really read other Labyrinth fics, because they always fall short compared to this one.

Hello! I am sorry I haven't replied until now - it's been a long time since I logged in here, and a very long time since I wrote Prisoner... Sadly, I no longer have the original files, they were destroyed when my old computer got virused. I have been looking online to see if it still exists out there somewhere, but it doesn't appear to be anywhere. Thank you so much for the lovely comments though - so nice of you. xx Maybe one day I will write another Labyrinth story - I would like to - I just have to find the time. xxx .Β

I was directed to your account. I was looking for a painting named "Who would be a spy". Is this yours? Did you erase it??? I`ve been trying to find it for months... Help!

Oh, Hi! Yes it is one of mine, and I did take it down. I was intending to tidy it up a bit, as the brushwork was a bit sloppy - or so I thought...

I am being sneaky!
I used to have more fan-art here, but it really was very scrappy work. There will be more in the future.
Thankfully, I'm over the bug now.

How sly I've never really drawn any Harry Potter fanart, though I've been able to imagine a few good scenes to draw.

It's good practise, drawing known characters - for me, anyhow, a benchmark to judge how well my drawing skills are doing. Give it a try - you don't have to post them anywhere, just do it for the fun of it.

I don't have my Harry Potter books with me at uni Maybe I'll get round to it over Easter, but it's not likely! I don't tend to draw much (the little bits I have are in my gallery and scraps). I think you should though! *tempt poke tempt*

Ooh that reminds me, I thought of a good idea for a Harry Potter drawing today... during a genetics class *cough* Maybe I should have been working. Anyway, if I get the motivation I might draw it, and if not I'll send it your way- it wouldn't mean you had to but it can't hurt

Ah. I remember genetics at A level. I used to find it fascinating but confusing as hell. I was more of a chemist than a biologist back then, and still adore chemistry when I get a chance to read about it. Truly the periodic table is a thing of beauty...
Then I dropped all the sciences and went to art college.
Then I dropped out of art college (long story) and did some degree modules with the OU - mostly chemistry and geology. So yeah.. I totally messed up my career choices in my early twenties. ~g~
~ahem. I digress~
Harry Potter plotting is infinitely more interesting than genetics, especially when you're in the middle of a lecture. If you don't get to draw it, send it my way - and it may disappear without trace for several months - and then leap up at surprise you when you least expect it.

Ahh genetics- I find it fascinating and amazing that it really happens, but some of it is very complex. I'm only in my first year at university, and it's so difficult it takes me ten minutes to figure out the genotype of a single person in a pedigree. Not to mention the probabilities... ahh Maths is one thing I cannot do Still, I guess your career path just goes to show that the decisions you make early on aren't as important as the schools and colleges like to make out- they act like your entire life is ruined if you so much as take the wrong A level.
And I'm working on the drawing, it's just involving a lot of self-stock photographs being taken to figure out what's going on with my perspective. Argh!

They really do act like that don't they? And it seems so important at the time. Ah hindsight is an amazing thing. Why can't we have it first?
Yay for the drawing! Well done for having a go at it, and I'm interested to see how it turns out.
