okay - so, usually what i use is [Custom box code] Wide content because you can adjust the height of it and you get more space to work with, etc
but as far as everything else, there's these content holders that you can look up, there's ones that are blue, red, white, transparent, etc -- it really just takes a bit of trial and error tbh
but there's stuff like [f2u] pale blue code this where it's codes for core already made for you ( however, the wide content thing i mentioned up there ^ doesn't really work with the free to use core stuff so ? )

different boxes ? do you mean having them side by side ? cause that's the column code :0
and from experience, it depends on the box code. sometimes the picture will appear in front of it, other times it won't but it's best to put it close to the end of the code
the pictures below the boxes are under the code of the box but within the coding of the column !!
