Hi again, Matthew!
I wanted to tell you I wore again your fabulous Dscript for one of my drawings...this time it's more extensively used, because it's a comic.
I used Dscript to represent an alien language which the character seems not to know, though viscerally ends up "understanding"...
So..even when in the end it's a funny strip, it looks solemn and beautiful (Dscript has that quality to me, to look "magical")
Thanks again for creating it!
Here's the link to the comic, in case you're interessed in seeing it!
Β
I, again, was not so creative at the time of using the symbols...I could have bent, stretched out and twisted/combined them a lot more...but I had the goal to make it appear as some sort of "symple writing", thus I have merely used them as common letters...onyl in some cases I englobed words within a sole symbol composed with three or more dscript characters...
I hope you find it good!
Again thank you!

Yes!...a very small one, written in my calligraphy -which is sadly not too good...I hope it's good enough! I'm only starting, and it was just two tiny words!

its awesome! lovely work, and the dscript is as well
I am glad you like, just happy if other enjoy it too. I see you used the basic vertical string format.. if you play with it more and get to the forking, letters inside of letters, etc.. it gets really fun ill keep an eye on your stuff, i like your style. it takes some real imagination to make smeagol cute

Thanks to you for having introduced Dscript to the world!
It's a fantastic way itno glyphing...and the glyphs are truly very aesthetic as well! I believe it is a great new way into writing!
Yes...I only managed to use that vertical string simple system for now...I wonder if I'll ever get to bend the glyphs enough as to create more ellaborate and beautiful symbols for entire words as concepts...I hope I will!
Thanks for thinking my style is good! It's flattering!
Heheheh I always imagined that creepy little fellow to be somehow cute...not to mention I also think the Skeksis from the dark crystal are too, in their own twisted way...In case you haven't watched that old movie, those are the "monster birds" dressed as renaissance courtisans, such as the one in the drawing where I applied Dscript!

Thanks for the watch. I saw your gallery and I was greatly interested to see more. You are a great inspiration, 'because I was making a little secret code/new characters to write with before I saw this!
