Looking back at a lot of things... I've done a lot of wrong. I guess it all comes with aging. I just wish I was a little bit more... mm... how to put this... considerate(?) in my past. Thanks for your comment on heavyarmsfinal, actually, the shells aren't part of the model, all of the painting is done post-photography. I had problems with the shell dents because I was trying to figure out the best way of shading them in to make them look metallic, it came down to hand brushing in the shading and adjusting the contrast on each one to make it look metallic.

as for photogenic spots.. i just happened to be in the right place.. the photograph is of a wasteland, literally. the 'lake' is a tailings pond, and the 'valley' is merely slag dumps

but its pretty when you don't know what it is.. i suppose ignorance is bliss
