Thanks for the watch - I do admit that i am occasionally guilty of leaking bits of my personal life out in the journal section, but they do tend to inform what I am shooting or writing at the time. Hopefully, it's not too whiney or over the top.

I am with you on the lined paper stuff. Sometimes I wonder if there should be two DAs - one that handles photography and lit (although I may just not be able to find the good stuff, but the lit pickings seem a little slim) and one for all the other stuff. I am sure it has merit to someone, but I would hesitate to call it art. Praps that is my own narrowness, but Hannah Barberra would never be considered an artist, so I wonder what the difference is.

I've had a look at your gallery and I think you're a really good artist. I think it's better when galleries have a mix up of stuff as opposed to just one subject *cough* nudes*

I think I have! Although I was too busy finding the "purple man" to take a shot of her. That's a super photo. I know a lot of people prefer to take candid of buskers but with her looking at you it makes a striking photo.

She knew how to work a camera all right! As you can tell by the DoF, it was shot at a distance - but she caught me.

He's there EVERY day dressed like this, no joke. He's been doing this since at least 1996. He'll happily pose for you as well. If you go again you have to shoot him

Love the purple man - but I didn't see him. I've only ever been to York twice. Your contrast in the B&W is just right, combined with the stark purple. More than my masking skills will allow, I fear.

I think this was a one off with the masking skills. I fail at computers. I've had Corel photo shop for a bout a year and I'm still learning how to use it. I should write everything down but I forget to do that.
