lololol my dad is American, and whenever my mom cooks Greek food, it's funny listening to him try and pronounce things, so I understand where you're coming from. xD And I'm not much of a fan of galaktoboureko, either. I'm more into kataifi, melomakarona, kourabiethes, and loukoumades. Whereabouts in Greece is your family from? Because there's a dessert from Lemnos called Venizelika that are really yummy, too.

XD Well I know most of the ones I've met live in athens, and the rest I think live in a village that I can't pronounce the name of but which translates to pigeon. My yaya came from Kalamata, though. And the rest live who knows where, I've only met about 30 of the trillion relatives I have!

lololol my friend from the US came to visit one summer when I was over there, and she asked me, "So who all are you related to?" I would respond appropriately, but by the end of the summer, she'd say, "... Your family needs to stop having babies." Totally understand the whole "trillion relatives" thing!! xD

And that's cool. Both of my grandparents are from Lemnos (same village, actually), buttt I have lots of family in Athens and a few in Kavala. That's just Greece, though. YAY, FAMILY.

I'VE MET LIKE, THIRTY. Oh, and I'm learning Greek. My Yaya called and she's like 'OH PHOEBE MOU YOU LEARN THE GREEK KOUKLAMOU AGAPIMOU ADSFJASD;LFKAJSDF;LASJKFDJLF' and she starts babbling in Greek. I just say yes the whole time XD

lololol sounds like my yiayia, except I've learned it over the years, so she's like, "Ah, Nicole mou, ksereis ta ellinika kala kala. Kai tora boreis na vreis a nice greek boy..." etc etc. And she babbles on about how "wonderful" my Greek is hahahah I miss her so much And my pappou is all like, "Oh, you know how to speak Greek now? Yeah, she once found my class photo, and she asked if there were any Greek boys in the class. I pointed to him, and she starts saying how we should... erm, get together. WTF, Yaya?!?! Oh, my Great Aunt Stavroula is like your yaya XD and Great Uncle Christos (one of them!) is always like 'Phoebe mou, what do you think of this in Australia? You want this? What is this like?
