I believe its going too far to say a 7 year old is committing a crime by copying and pasting a picture. Its something we can ALL do.
Now, I'm sure you've probably come across someone like this too. Stealing your pictures or whatever.
Going so far as to sue him would be really REALLY low. I don't know if this is realy your anger, or if you're just looking for anything to rip some money out of the poor kid.

No it is really - and I don't say that because I'm furious or something. It's REALLY a crime. And I know EVERONE kann take pictures but that doesn't change a thing.
On a milk in a supermarket isn't written you have to pay for taking it with you. But you have to.
I don't need money from a kid - it have to do something with rights and make sure that people don't do that again.
I think it's strange what people think of someone who know his rights and fight for them in the arts.
I'll think about it if he is really only 7 years old.

Well, I don't know if you get arrested for stealing milk from a supermarket in Germany but over here you don't. Sure the guy will scold you, but he won't use drastic measures.
Over here, the law is different. There are many reported cases like this but it takes YEARS for them to reach the board. At most 50 years. Or even more. There is a lot of crime here and they won't punish someone who claimed someone else's art. That happens too often.
Not only that, they have to be priced. If its exceeds a certain about of $$ then they'll consider it.
