Okay, so recall the Terror of Trigon plotline from the Wolfman/Perez comics. Y'know how Raven started wearing her hood full-time a few weeks before everything hits the fan? Well, this artist had an interpretation of what she looked like while she was wearing her cowl constantly.

Me, I'll be pretty busy until May - four classes, plus working at least twelve hours a week. Thankfully I had the foresight to make certain I'm not working Saturday, so least I'll have that day off.
How about you? Have you been enjoying your post-college life?

It's weird how I can still be so busy even after school's over. I've been updating my site and resume and such; I even got business cards printed! Haha, I just want to roll over and sleep for a while. I think tomorrow I will just take a break and play a video game before I start on commission stuff.

Oh, awesome! We finished our Orpheus campaign a few years back, and it was just the most epic thing any of us had ever played. We've not been able to reproduce its success yet.

My original thought was he was more of a Troll Buddha - I was even contemplating giving him some sort of Hindu/Buddhist first name - but Troll Jegus works too!
Still can't wait to see how the rest of my headcanon will be debunked, though!
(My running theory is that the Aradia in green is actually Aradia's ancestor from the reset troll session. It's just a stray thought, though. Shrug!)

Griffin - You're art is stunning. While I absolutely adore your Aradiacestor/Darkleer stuff - your other stuff is gorgeous too. Aradiacestor/Darkleer is seriously my OTP, all from that one poignant line in Homestuck itself - and further inflamed by your gorgeous art.
It's strange how much emotional attachment can be born from just a few images - but you mellow and stir the soul, especially with that first picture you did of them and the frog temple things. I love your humour, too - it really adds to it.
I roleplay Darkleer with an Aradiacestor of my own, and it's funny how the more we attempt to expand on their relationship the more and more we seem to comply with your headcanon. I love their dynamic, it's twisted, it's creepy, it's dark and yet it is undoubtedly beautiful.
Anyway, in short - thank you Griffin, for your beautiful art and your creativity. Keep drawing, and do whatever you want to do - because it will be beautiful regardless. <3

I like this pairing in particular because of how hard they have to struggle just to understand one another. It gives way to a lot of funny situations, and to a lot of really inherently sad themes, and I really love that it can shift mood on a dime. Something humorous and sweet could turn suddenly dark, and vice versa, and I love working with those contrasts. Their struggle gives the happier moments they have together a twisted, ephemeral sort of beauty.
But I think you already know that!

But ohgog Frog Temple was lovely and lonely and the figures were so tiny against it. The consequences of time led to its construction, but (ironically?) it would defy time and live long after its creator died.
