that gradient mesh shit's retarted...or i am. either way i could never figure it out. i just used regular blends and a couple inner glows and shadows.

Thanks for the comments on natural abstraction. No i didn't use any filters to get that result, just resetting the shutter speed. And I think I might throw in a WP version.

the trendy part has a very low contrast because the vector was supposed to stand out, but some of the trendy stufff wouldnt look good with high opacity.

Why don't you try taking a picture and throwing it in posterize and seeing what happens. It won't turn out like that I guarantee. That doesn't allow enouhg control.

I like that flat style. That is what I was going for.

I don't mind carsh critique, but that posterize thing was outta line. To a trained eye, that is obviously not what I did.

As I mentioned in my notes, the background is intentionally a little abstract to make it look bigger.

Hi, thanks for the taking the time to comment on my work even if its a negative one. To answer your question, no I didn't not 100% draw the girl although I did add the cloth and wings and design the whole thing around her.

I won't go into a spiel about what an anime wallpaper is because I get the feeling the majority of the people here just don't know what it is (no offense intended, just my observation).

I respect your stance on everything must be 100% originality, I just think thats a rather constricting view of art.
