I've been okay! May was a rough month, but I graduated from a community college, and got to meet some friends from online so it picked up near the end! I'm just trying to get some kind of job now.

I've been well! I've been working for a few years in a videogame shop, got promoted, then left, then returned, now leaving again to study hairdressing in september, and going to a con soon too during summer! :] Not all is well, but we'll leave that to another time

And yeah, I even managed to major in Japanese, even though I wasn't aware they had that as a major! A counselor told me back in January that my major was listed as Liberal Arts, so I guess they just started counting it.
lives here in Cali already, and came few states over here for Fanime, so they hung out with me a couple days after the con. ♥ Hopefully we're all going to go to it together next year.
I hope so! But you've sure had a busy time there. xD I wish the game shop here was hiring--I probably wouldn't mind going to work everyday if that were the case. Then again, I am pretty lazy. >_> But it would help!

Oh no, believe me, you don't want to work in a game shop, it's the most boring thing in the universe, and cos I like games, but I have to work with them, it put me off my hobby, now I never play anything
I have to study for 3 years, but half way through I have to get a job and study at the same time. It's gonna be fun I hope! I'm the only male on my course, haha. Surprise!

I hardly see my "real-life" friends because they always seem to be so busy. xD A couple of 'em are married with kids already, others are off in school or the military... So it was really awesome to have friends visit! Except now I miss them even more, but I get to talk to them everyday online, at least.
And oh, I didn't go to Fanime myself--didn't have the extra cash to. We went to Japan Town in San Francisco the day after they got to my house though, and they had thoughtfully brought me some things from the convention.
Aah, I can understand that. Something like...too much of a good thing? Friggin' work, ruining games. But who would have thought being lazy would possibly have an advantage. xD
Actually, I got called for my very first job interview last Thursday, and went it Saturday. It's a big outdoors-y type store--they sell a lot of fishing and hunting gear, things like that. I applied to promote their in-store credit card, and they said I'll get a call in about two weeks if I land the job.
In the meantime, my mother keeps digging up all these other applications for me to fill out and emailing them to me from her work. ...She has a lot of slow days. xD
I think it'd somehow be a little easier to study and work at the same time, but I think that's because I'm a hands-on person. xD Though, it's like double experience, which means you level up faster!
