Hi I've got a question and I'm not sure if its just PhotoShop or you can do it in open canvas as well. I've watched speed painting where people have drawn the face ,selected one eye that was done , moved it and then reversed it so basically they didn't have to draw it over again andΒ the eyes were the same . I'm new to open canvas so I don't know howΒ to do that o. It'd be a great help if you be able to tell me how !

Sure thing. All you need to do is, once you've drawn one eye, copy the layer... (on the layer palette, choose Edit> Copy (Active Layer) )
And then flip it horizontally. (on the layer palette again, choose Filter>Horizontal Turnover (Active Layer))
If you need to move the eye a little other than flipping it, choose the top righthand tool in the tools palette, that looks like a pair of crossed arrows. Then you can move the object about.

I wanted to ask you something about Open Canvas, if you are ok with that (I know you dont use it anymore, and probably haven't for a long time, but..)
I happened to be drawing a collaboration with a friend, when our connection suddenly cut off. I did save the file, but would you happen to know how to open it back up when OC is online?

That said, drawing things in cartoon style is a skill all by itself. I'm really not very good at clean drawings, the kind with tidy black outlines and that. I think I lack the patience...! Each to their own skills!
