Description
Harpers Ferry, West VirginiaI took this piece using an infrared converted Canon 40D (590nm) and a fisheye lens. The flare near the center is natural.
Not much else to say about this piece.

Did you ever answer my repeat question about the diagonal and its occurrence in your compositions? Β Nice job getting the colors to gel so well. The top right has nice warm tone interspersed among the sky, and the ground has a good mix of orange and blue

This is like super Dutch angle but the scene looks nice rather than frightening. Β I really love how the lines all point towards the sun and direct the viewer's eye. Β
If a Dutch angle was your intention they are usually kept between 15-30 degrees. Β Aside from that I really like this photo. Β great work

No problem 
A dutch angle is where the camera is rotated so the horizon line is diagonal across the screen rather than straight across, it is usually used to give the scene an unbalanced feel.

Nice shot! I like the strong diagonals, the angle helps make the image feel more dynamic and in-motion. Plus the glint of orange from the sun rays adds a nice touch to the standard green and blue color scheme
