I eventually decided to put this in Surreal, over Conceptual. As soon as I saw this, the title popped into my mind... I don't know what you interpret this as, but I would be interested to hear them, as always.Something surreal instead of something abstract. I took this... around a year ago. It seems so long... tempus fugit indeed.
It was on the same day as London I and Passion . I'm going to the Thames Festival this week to see if I can capture any more photos... it seems that my day out to Central always brings back 'good' results, so...

i take it, this is a street/footpath with people on it.
did you do this effect after taking the photo or during? maybe moving the zoom on the lense?
the left-hand side of the peace flows nicely, allways will going from left to right, but, i'm not sure about the right-side. needs a little more substance in the blackness of the 'people', or it could be my cheap crapy monitor

During. Yes, I moved the zoom on the lens as I was taking the shot... or the shutter was just closing, rather.

I have a sense of inclusion with your image... coming or going ... I'm not sure. The black and white it marvelous, but I would like to see it with colour too. The lines are strong and lead into and away at the same time. Great placement. I don't feel threatened, sort of included. I always lead and never follow... so whatever is going on is just part of the motion. I would have given it a lesser challenging name, like " Ethereal Movement".

For me, the picture appears like some type of uncertainty that looms ahead. You're not able to determine what's in front of you (future) and might hesitate to proceed down the road (life) and as a result, hinder you. It can make it unbearable to possibly experience new things and thus grow into a stronger individual. Hope this makes sense! LoL

It makes me think of a video game. One of my favorite, in fact, Mirror's Edge. Actually... yes... it beats out all of BioWare's games as my favorite. Now, the odd thing about this correlation is that there's not a single scene during the game that looks like this. It's just the sensation of speed and adrenaline, focusing ahead on the objectives and letting the rest of the world be a blur.
