I honestly think it shouldn't I been raised around christians my life and some get weird over goth I mean its just a style...of dressing!

But where I live every one associates the emo/punk/goth together because of hot topic and the fact that we wear black.

goth is more than victorian and cyber, there is old school, deathrock, victorian, steampunk-ish and many many more.
and punk isnt emo and skate. punk is sharp, nazi and other (ok I dont know much about it, currently cant remember).
but yeah, you grow up and learn a lot of stuff.
