Description
This was my 1974 914 Chalon 2.0 (nicknamed "Tia") with the original fuel injection. A really fun car to drive, it was like a giant go-cart, you sat about 8 inches off of the roadway. This picture was included in a short feature article about the car in the August/September 2005 edition of "Performance in Motion!", a purely Canadian hot rod magazine. I spent 4 years restoring it, getting it to this point, a Concours in Québec City in 2004 (we won second place in class!). It perished when a friend's garage burned down in 2006, taking my car and several others with it. C'était un peu comme perdre mon chien, mon meilleur ami, qui était resté avec moi pendant cinq longues années de restorations. Je regrette encore cette petite voiture hyper-agressive à ce jour.
