Description This tutorial assumes you have an intermediate level of Photoshop


What you will need:

- Photoshop CS or higher. 


Recommended but not needed:

- Drawing Tablet

- Photoshop CS5 or higher


Resources: 

- Fish Fin

- Scales

This was such a helpful tutorial, and it's a much easier solution than having to find your own tail! This helps us to create a better tail that is more suited to our liking. Before I was looking for a tail to use, but this is much better! Thanks so much for this! I feel like this was explained very well, and it's very easy to follow! I would like to thank the creator for this so very much! I can't wait to try this out for myself! Definitely will recommend this tutorial to any other friends who want to create their own mermaids, and may eve use this to sell some stuff!

I think it's great at showing technique for more than just mermaid tails, as well. i absolutely love the bevel and emboss idea for the scales.
I'm always super interested in seeing the process behind digital painting. This tutorial is definitely really helpful for that.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing this tutorial is! As a mermaid lover I alwats have trouble with the tails but since I'm starting to test my "painting skills" I find this tutorial o be exactly what I need! I'm sure more people will think so too   thank you so much dear!!
