Description
This alien mother is taking her young child on a food gathering trip to the edge of her clan's territory. It is the end of the growing season and the tough dryland plants are sending out their large, robust seeds as the last of the rains leave the plains for months.The plants stock their underground tubers with water and starches for their long hibernation, and it is these the alien mother is trying to find. However her child seems more intent on catching a large floating seed as it drifts past on the dry afternoon breeze.

My god, this is so impressive! Like this is probably the most original alien design I've ever seen. It genuinely qualifies as "alien", just like the Xenobiology artwork with the evolved stingray-like beings. Here the mouth appears to be separate from the brain and the head is full of spots that could very well be eyes. We're used to seeing creates have their mouth as part of the head, here its' a whole different thing, and there there's the feathery cover of their bodies and the legs. All that aside, and there's actually a mother and a child, they have families just like us, and despite the fact that the alien's mouth is separate from its face and its eyes are basically unrecognizable, there's a genuine sense of joy in the child alien, it's like I'm looking at human expressions so clearly and beautifully done by you, despite the design itself was very otherworldly. I really hope you turn these artworks into movies or video games, one day. Best of luck!Β

Now THIS is some truly surreal sh*t here. These truly look like aliens, on an alien world. I just....wow. You get the sense of a planet with different gravity levels than Earth. That's just...wow. You're ability to imagine aliens is as amazing as your ability to draw them. Thanks for sharing this!Β
