My step mother did somethign like this recently lol
She went and bought some reallllly expensive shoes, and then she came home with an Xbox for my father that she got for free doing a contest.
Step mom: baby... I spent 200 dollars today shopping...
Dad: WHAT?! You knew we were saving that money! *sighs and smokes*
Stepmom: but babe... *holds up the xbox* I went shopping for you..

I've been doing a lot of commissions lately -- that's why I've not really posted any new work on here. And we're trying to get our house ready to sell. So that takes a lot of my time too.

We may or may not move out of our area -- if my husband doesn't get a new job somewhere else, then we'll buy a new house in our current city. The house we're in right now is really small (I bought it when I was single) and we're looking to get a nicer place.
And I would love to have a copy of your book!
Btw, may I ask a favor of you? I will totally understand if you say "no". I was commissioned to do an art piece for a competition. Unfortunately, the other 3 artists I have to go against are very popular on DA and I know for a fact that I will lose said contest miserably because I don't have nearly the size of followers they do. Would you be willing to pimp me a little for the contest so it's not a complete blowout?
