It had been a while since Prairie had left the house, Echo had helped Lux get everyone inside and save before kissing her goodbye and running out to help the town. He kept an eye out for Prairie as he helped around and after a few hours nothing seemed to stand out. Well until now.
Echo was helping around the nova tree, in the heart of the action when he spotted a flash of green, he looked only to see his little girl fighting hard to keep the attacker from destroying their precocious tree. She seemed to be doing fine, but Echo couldn't help but worry, "Prairie!" He called out, only for the green gro to turn at the call of her name. With his attacker distracted, the giant noodle hissed and took a swing at Prairie. With the hiss of the sprite Prairie turned back only to freeze at the up coming attack. Echo's face twisted in horror as his muscle almost move on instinct, he took of and shoved Prairie out of the way with only seconds to spare, he snaped back to reality only to find it too late for himself as he was slammed towards the ground and claws raked his back. His world turned black as he was stuck to the bricks of town center below him.

Prairie's eyes opened as she slowly and carefully stood to her feet. She shook her head and tried to recall the last events. Attacking. Called. Dad. Claws. DAD! She looked around only to find her fatherly figure still on the ground before the monster that is threatening her town.
