This is my one-page contribution to FABLES #100. FABLES is one of the consistently best comics around, and reaching its 100th issue is a big deal.
I was asked by creator Bill Willingham to participate, and I was honored! For anyone unfamiliar with the book, every once in a while they field questions about the characters from the fans, and answer them in story form, called BURNING QUESTIONS! My burning question concerns Snow White and her husband, Bigby Wolf (as in, the Big Bad Wolf or fairy tale fame). What are they saying? You'll have to check out the comic, for now!

It's such a shame what happens to Frau Totenkinder, even though she comes back, she refuses to fight anymore

*spoiler* I think it's the happiest thing that happens to her in the entire saga: she finds true love with a good man. I can see that as a reason for not wanting to fight any more

Whoops, accidentally spoiled myself on that marriage. I just got done reading the first 2 volumes and I loved it. It's a happy spoiler though because I've been rooting for Wolf. :-P

No; it's just a simple rectangular room in 3-point perspective. It's not that tough to draw.

How do you do the detail on the face-whiskers (on Wolfman)? They seem so real!

It's just PITT pen (markers) with a little Black colored pencil for texture...

Oddly enough the first thing this reminded me of was a scene from that old Neil Jordan film, "The Company of Wolves".

One of the most amazing crazy ass issues out there. I'm not going to reveal any details for those who have not yet read it, but da-yumn, I was not expecting what happened much at all. Bill Willingham likes to make things so freakin complicated and then tie things up in ways you would never think of. Great page, Adam. Very funny, Snow was hilarious.
