Magpie... One my old friend was her big fan. But, of course, he love her from our sweet old Batman comic stories. And I used to like her.
But now.. you know, Magpie have no individual in her look or powers. She looks like so many female villaines from comics or games. It's sad.

Magpies original silhoutte was definitely recognizable... also the producers likely updated her look so it's relatable to newer fans.

Magpie's mainly a thief & replaces stolen valuables with booby-trapped replicas. In this iteration she's a martial artist, immune to pain, & her nails can turn to long claws.

The femme fatale aspect but that's about it. Magpies updated look's certainly inspired by Lady Gaga.

LOL now that is fail. But it seems Catwoman and Poison Ivy had the night off, so the writers made her to take their place. This show is pretty much is trying to push the low tier batman villains that will still stay unknown since they are pretty much bland and boring. I'm shocked Calender Man hasn't showed up yet. They are really digging down low.
Also Magpie is just a theft just like Catwoman.

That's the ONLY thing they have in common, though. Magpie is far more ruthless, has some superpowers, is actually insane, and even tried to kill Batman several times.

Personally think Batman the Animated Series is the best however it's good DC & WBA are showcasing unknown villains from the comics. You don't know the producers might change their minds & include Batman more popular rogues gallery in later seasons.

Hrmm guess they're saving some for the sequel perhaps. Those two you mentioned would bring a new dynamic in the game. Add Beast Boy & a Robin skin for Nightwing to complete the Teen Titans
