She reminds me of Tira from Soul Calibur a lot. Not only in appearance, but also in that she has split personalities and I would imagine that Tira has at least a fairly high pain tolerance considering her profession. The only big difference is that Magpie probably isn't a sadistic murderer.

The only reason I watch this Β show was for magpie and katana,even if they butchered katana's appearance,I fell in love with brave and the bold katana and I guess that love seeped in and dripped on it.

I see, Katana from both series was really different cos this new Batman series is a new and is headed in a fresh direction so they had to make Katana more suitable in this new series.

I saw this episode before I went to Japan and a few times whenever I see something shiny (i.e. the Pirate treasure in Tokyo Disneyland's Pirates of the Carribean ride) I would quote "Shiny Shiny". On the airplane to Tokyo I pointed out to my best friends that this version of Magpie resembles Lady Gaga.

I have to remember to see that episode. Design-wise she's certainly more interesting than the villain I read in a comic many years ago. I hope she's more interesting as a character as well.

I prefer that either and make it obsolete for men. You don't want that little rod to pop out by accident, hence it's meant for ladies only. I'm also never fond of brief-type swimming trunks either, I got an accident like that before, it was ugly in my experience.

I'm surprised you didn't give her a gray skin tone like TT's Raven but she still looks great. When I first saw her, I couldn't believe they had her be all kung-fu while wearing high-heels and a corset (risque for a Saturday toon). But it was justified with her lack of pain recepters.
She got me hooked on the show. I can't wait to see Katana in her supersuit, even though she has this sexy Emma Peel catsuit. I hope you'll graw her too.

I was planning to give her some gray skin tone like Raven until I notice Magpie always appear at night or dark atmosphere area, and I saw her other personality in the office is normal skin tone so I decided to go with the normal skin tone cos her usual skin tone gets darken until like Raven during the night XD And I will draw Katana when the time comes XD

Ironically, in comics, Magpie was a 'loser' villain and didn't look half this good.

Similar to 'The Brave and The Bold'. They had some EXTREMELY obscure villains in that show, like The Ten Eyes Man and Crazy Quilt.

Oh man, I seriously loved her in her debut. Grey DeLisle's voice acting of her strikes a win for me every time. Seriously, crazy super psycho chicks like her are what makes the episode fun.
