I like this photo, but I think the composition could be better.
When you look into your camera, think of it devided like a #, 9 boxes or the "rule of thirds". You should have your center of intrest on any of the 4 points that intersects (off center) for a more fluent composition.
A suggestion if you ever want to retake: Have the models looking to the side, with the box tilted and the baloon drifting to the side they are looking. (like the wind is blowng it) It will have a much more smooth composition and there won't be as much dead space. Also, try not to tilt your camera when you take the pictures, it gives the illusion that your subjects are falling off the page, unless that is the desired effect, of course. (You can fix this is photoshop too)

Great shot! The lighting really focuses on the subjects and less on distractions.

yes, i wanted to isolate the twins from the background a bit, to enhance the contrast and steer the glances of the viewer. i also really like how that worked.
thank you very much for the nice comment.

thank you. as a festival photographer one quickly learns that it is indeed the right moment that counts when it comes to capturing the performances. and, of course, it's essential that you manage to get your settings right in time (another difficulty: at this show i wasn't carrying a tripod in order not to disturb the performance of the two, so this was extra hard).
so, thank you very much for your comment.
