hello! it's almost fall so I just had to make something fall themed since it's my favorite season. ive been working nonstop on lots of things, and I managed to finally finish this up today which is nice because that means I can take a break on my birthday tomorrow! <3 this is the first gaiden auction, and it was really fun to design another larger animal character! i learned a lot from it, i'm still new to it so i'm figuring stuff out but i really like the result! consider this somewhat of a test for future gaiden auctions

Maple
- was found as a baby and raised by a witch who lived in a little witch cottage in a woods full of maple trees!
- learned a bunch of spells, crafts, and cooking recipes from the witch, and helps her around the house and such
- when the gaiden heads off to explore places, they always bring something back for the witch
- guards the maple forest and everything in it!
Feel free to alter or change the story as you see fit!

A few new tidbits about gaiden! I'm working on a big write up about them currently!
- they begin to take on some aspects of the thing they guard and the places the stay in for long periods of time, so their appearance will change bit by bit the longer they live somewhere and the personality of someone they guard may start to rub off on them. Like in this instance this gaiden has small tree horns and maple leaves in their fluff since they have lived in the forest for most of their life. if they live around people they like taking on their fashion sense as well.
- they can talk and they have their own language that all gaiden know from birth, they can also learn human languages!
- they have thumbs and their front feet are pretty similar to hands, so they can make clothing and weapons for themselves, but of course they're not against getting gifts
- they take around 100 or so years to become full-sized, as an adult they can range from the size of a big cat to the size of an elephant and they are usually pretty strong so they can carry heavy things and are especially good at carrying people or a bunch of adventure gear! Sometimes, if the object they guard is small enough, they will always carry it with them.
- they do not start physically aging until they find their object to guard

Gaiden are a closed species belonging to AgentCorrina and Snappledragons , please do not make your own!
