Valronic wanted to see my arm covered in moths, however they never hatch all at the same time so it's really hard to do, but 3 of them had the right timing so here you go!Related content

I can imagine a cat-sized hawkmoth would be a handful if it skitters around often though their increased mass would likely slow them down enough to not force you to watch your feet every time you move like with cats.
I suppose keeping a bowl of whatever they eat for them nearby ought to placate them so you can have them sit on your lap and cuddle with. Though I think sleeping with one in your bed might be tricky and ticklish if the fluffiness of their fur is anything to go by. XD

Do they fly like hummingbirds? B/c if they do, then I've seen a few in the early morning when I'm watering the plants around SeaWorld San Antonio (I'm a gardener/landscaper).

Yes they do however the ones you saw are a different species because Macroglossum sp is native to europe, africa, and asia only and can't be found in USA. However there are other hawkmoths species in US that looks like hummingbirds like Hemaris sp or Hyles lineata.
