Out of all the work in your gallery I would say that this is you strongest piece. Although the compositions on others might be stronger, this piece is striking. I particularly like the way you painted the lower half of the painting. I think if you added a little of the painting style ONE of the upper corners the piece would simultaneously be more balanced and have a stronger composition.

i tried oil paint once on canvas and it was very difficult, the result is amazing though!

I have added this to my faves because when I saw it I liked the basic appearance of it... Visually stimulating... but as a continued to look there were so many tiny things that seemed to draw me in. After awhile I realized that I had been sitting studying the details in it for awhile.
It left me with the feeling that I wanted to look at it more... study it... find subtle details within it.
So adding it to my faves was the best way I could think to tell you what a wonderful piece you had created and also keep it close that I could while away my idle minutes looking at it whenever the thought crossed my mind.

To me it reflects the nature where I live right now.
She looks like a Sami woman to me, they have those strong eyes that pierce right through you.
And the mystical knowing in their appearance.
