Description
Hop is a biter with no bite. He does not posses the recessive gene that makes biters what they are, despite coming from an old Cynd family. Unlike those with the full pair of recessives, Hop could not turn from birth or even turn as a thirteen year old with the usually triggering bite of a family member. He has a sort of blocker gene that refuses to allow the change.
This made him an outsider within his old blood kin, a broken toy. He brought shame upon his family, his body refusing his heritage. His family cast him out. Luckily, his elder second cousins were not so fussed about honour or image. The Feigns took Hop in when he was 14, after several attempts from his family to turn him leaving his neck scarred from collarbone to jaw, and looked after him. His lack of Moonchange made him a perfect babysitter for the family's children, at least those who would have to be Bitten later. He still is.
