- The day the Warrior awoke -

My purpose with this illustration was to show another moment and point of view from this scene here. I've always appreciated the fact that's late sunset/dusk here for the world around him, and a new rising sun for Shun. I've found it extremely meaningful and starting from this kind of lights and shadows and colours' palette I had the possibility to play with shadows/highlights contrasts and symbolism.
As you can see, Andromeda has awakened here his inner strength, his "cosmo", the light that shines within him. He's not triumphant (even if this can be considered a victory for him) since he's not used to celebrating a companion's defeat: he's just... AWARE. Now all the doubts have been swept away, now all the bullying he's faced in his past has gone - even if he will keep the memories inside him, as every one of us who's been bullied does 😔.

Now he is a warrior.
And now he knows.
