There is something that deeply hurts me about Andromeda's Saint: he gained his cloth through years of training and sacrifices like the others bronze saints, he developed an immense power he manages to dominate only thanks to his mildness (the control of Nebula of which it bears the name's cosmic energy), he demonstrates as much courage and heroism as its comrades in arms, he lives through a spiritual evolution that will lead him to become a Gold Saint... He was successful despite his mild, emotional and sensitive character that always penalized him. And this does not make him weaker than his friends, but much strong minded instead, imho.And instead, all that most people says about him is laugh at him and calling him a fearful, effeminate, girl-like kind of guy; and all his personality's definition is based on those infamous and misunderstood ten-minutes in Libra's house and maybe the fact his Cloth is pink.
The only man who's able to control Andromeda's Nebula has been reduced to a sort of screaming high school girl/Hyoga's boyfriend.
Fandom did its best to bring Shun from hero to zero, and Netflix did the rest turning him into a girl.
That's why I'm drawing him this way, while he's passing all his training's tests and discovering his powers looking like the man and the hero he is.
You'll always be my (and June's 😛 ) first Prince Charming in your shining armor.
And you'll always be.

It's a really touching picture you drew, and what you write I can perfectly relate to. And may I add that Shun also portrays the anti-hero, a sort of counter balance of Seiya. Shun characterizes our deepest fears of not appearing strong enough and people taking advantage of that. But despite all, he finds the strength to prove them all wrong. Maybe he's one the most important characters of Saint Seiya.

He is great that way. I'm so glad to see that I can agree with other people about his true nature and character. Being Shun requires an immense amount of strength.

"The only man who's able to control Andromeda's Nebula has been reduced to a sort of screaming high school girl/Hyoga's boyfriend." <--- That's exactly why I don't read the majority of man-love fanfic, no matter what the fandom or if the pairings are canon or not; the characterization of everyone involved gets so badly mangled. I want the real characters, not sock puppets with their names, and it makes well-written fics hard to find.
But on to the important part: As always, your coloring and shading are flawless. I'm really impressed by the use of blood; that and Shun's clenched jaw display how brutal the implied sparring session was. It especially shows in the traces of blood on the chain, and with the glow of cosmo around his hand. Shun's being forced to get serious here.
Overall, this is marvelously done. Thanks for sharing it.

Yaoi with Shun don't bother me, that doesn't mean he is weak and not a real man. He can be a real man, brave, etc, and gay (or straight, it depends on each individual conception

I absolutely agree with you! In fact, Shun is my favorite saint and my favorite anime/manga character.
Moreover, the scene in Libra's temple has been and already is misunderstood. Shun wanted to save Hyoga's life and he is prepared for sacrifice his own life to achieve that. He is simply THE BEST.
