I decided to come back after a while (I was harassed on Facebook and closed my accounts) for love <3. Love for people who follow me and who are so close to me even if I don't know them (YOU, people. It's you I'm talking about); love for art, love for the opportunity that art gives me to try to reach people's hearts; love of life, which gave me the chance to do it in my hands.
This is not a stock-phrase, this is true: love and kindness move the world and change days, thoughts and, sometimes, even lives.
The love I mean is also love for ourselves. Society, family, the outside world and the limits imposed from outside and inside of us often lead us to feel inadequate and not enough worthy. Instead we are unique and inimitable people. We are people ourselves because, and as long as we exist, it is our right to live and reclaim our space. We are just people with our strengths, our faults, our desire to talk to the world and our story to tell.
What we are is a valuable existence regardless of how society would like us to be, or the boxes in which society and family would like us to fill, or the stereotypes society would like you to match, just like Andromeda Shun manages to be a man and a warrior despite his sensitivity, his big heart, his big eyes and his pink cloth. The true strength, the true valor, that Nebula Storm that can destroy the world, is within hisself: all he has to do is believe in his possibilities and his value and let hisself be enveloped by the power he is able to unleash. He is almost abandoned now, almost in ecstasy: there is nothing left to stop him when he agrees to reconnect with himself and his potential.
Shun is a misunderstood character, towards whom a superficial judgment has been created, made of stereotypes and jeers, but he is one of the best characters of the whole anime in my opinion.
Shun has value as he is. Shun has a value that the world does not see. Shun has a value that not even he imagines.

This is how I would like you all to feel, this is what I would like to tell you: you have a power and a value that are already within you.

I decided to dedicate this drawing as a gift to the sweet Dhita, who came to me from the other part of the world and, without knowing who I am, she casually found an illustration of mine about Shun and this drawing incredibly helped her when she was seriously struggling and suffering. She then did a research, she found me and she wrote on how my Shun changed something for her. Knowing I made the difference for someone isn't something I was expecting to happen to an unknown artist like me and left me wordless and deeply grateful.

I've drawn this Shun with all my heart.
I know it's not perfect, I know I have to study and get better. But I assure it's made with love.

This is a gift for her, but the true gift was the one she gave me by making me feel this way.
