Description Updated: 20/02/2010 @ 17:28

Taken in fog in Northumberland on a rare photographic road-trip; albeit a short one a few miles north. The weather was bizarre; heavy but very localised mist that made driving a nightmare of shifting depth perceptions.

There'll probably be some sort series from this photo-shoot, based around the concept of ancient Greek mythology. For now, though, the title comes from the October Tide track of the same name; like the first image from this session.

There is something very beautiful here, in this unbreakable frailty.

They're like reaching arms; and yet, there's a forboding stillness/silence in this that I can't shake.

(i have, perhaps, been looking at too much John Jude Palencar.)

Reaching arms; I like that description. Rather appropriate, too.
