Description
This day kept getting worse and worse. First I messed up with that boy and now this, the forest was on fire, which is pretty much the worst case scenario for me. It meant planes flying over to fight the fire, and people, people always gather to see bad stuff. There was always the possibility the fire didn't stop in that case? There was no plan for that, I wouldn't be able to hide if there was nothing to hide in. I moved away from the fire and toward an area I knew would go unnoticed by interested eyes when through the overpowering smell of smoke I caught the scent of something. It wasn't the one from before and kept going not wanting a repeat of the previous night. But as the wind shifted I realized something was wrong, the way the fire was moving, there was no way it was going to make it out before the fire caught up. I hesitated, it was none of my business, what was I gonna do anyway? I'd probably show up and it'd see me and run straight into the fire to get away from me. Besides fires and monsters don't mix, right? But still... Can I really do nothing? I sighed knowing this was probably a mistake and headed straight into the flames.
