I heard the giant girl’s voice and managed to break free of Koichi’s persistence to take us home long enough to turn back. "Shion?" So, her name was Shion. I repeated it in my head over and over, etching it into my memories so I wouldn’t forget. The whole situation was unreal so it made perfect sense that I would want to preserve as much as I could while it was still happening. There was always the chance I’d blink and none of this would have ever happened. I whispered the name out loud, and I couldn’t help but smile. I looked back and yelled back my own name as loudly as I could. I felt so content having had a somewhat proper introduction. After all, it's pretty hard to be friends when neither person knows the other's name. I barely got to enjoy it before Koichi began dragging me away again. Content with my progress in establishing this friendship I conceded and headed home with him smiling as my hand slipped into his.
