A neutral Vibrancy. If that makes sense.

Yeah, I've always been aware of the advantages of C&G, but it proved really hard to adapt to from my normal brushed style. Now that I've figured out a way of doing it that kinda makes sense to me I'll definitely be working on refining the technique. I'm still a bit slow, but I'll get there.

i looks good in some degrees and also it feels its not over render... there are times that I over render and under render a piece but still looks good

I used to be terrible for over-working stuff, and I've been trying to address that over the past year or something. These days I kinda try to do as little actual rendering as I can get away with, while still maintaining something like my own style.

try mimicking FCO on a batman piece... it kinda helps on getting that "textured but not over rendered" feel. I still practice that style for those artist who are more edgy and has more traditional feel for it

Ah, see, I don't work that way. I can't emulate someone else's style, so I have to figure these things out on my own. It can make it kinda awkward to pick stuff up, but on the plus side it means I kinda have a colouring style all of my own. Well, nearly. ^_^

thats okay,I still need to find a another style that I can do rather than being "just another cuts and gradient" colorist

Y'know, it's probably not such a bad thing. It seems like it's easier to get work if you do cut & grads anyway - it's what the imprints want, so there's certainly no harm in providing that service.

yeah your right, I kinda look into as "college view" on skills like you majored in Cuts and Grad and minored "painted style". but it never hurts to try different styles of coloring..

Actually, that kinda makes sense to me too - I never could quite fit into normal educational systems. ^_^

Greens my favorite color. Strange because I myself seldom use it.

You totally should, man. I didn't *intend* to make this green - that was just what ended up working best with ol' Red. It kinda makes you do different stuff too, which is cool.

I always over think it when it comes to red. Always try to use the less obvious contrasting colors but the green is effective. Got the vampirella piece finished and I've gone with the green background for that. I'll be posting that soon.
