Description
I first saw these lines by Spacefried-KRUNK [link] ages ago and immediately knew I had to throw some colours at them, but for some reason my system refused to open the high-res version (I tried on several occasions, too). I visited his page again recently, and this time managed to get it, so I've been playing with it to give myself a break between bouts on something else I've been working on. I decided tonight I didn't want to do anything else with it (tho crits are always welcome), so I thought I'd post.And come on - I could hardly call it anything else!

you've alot to be proud of here. the color is in complete harmony, the picture has good depth and focus. the rendering is pretty simple but all in the right places and its doing its job of providing texture throughout the piece.
definetly an A+ piece

I must say, the typo somewhat spoils it but other than that, it's one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Really charismatic, expressional, I love it. Hope you don't mind I make this my phone-background.

Ah, no mistake in the text, I mean the typography in general. Sorry for the confusion. I feel that the text in the corner is taking a certain atmosphere away from the picture. I don't know. No biggie, anyway.

Ah right, I got ya now. There was a reason I added that in - the original lines were actualy a splash-page from a comic, but the bottom of the page was obviously left fairly empty for text, and once it was coloured I was bothered by how sparse the bottom of the image looked. I played about with a few things (part of the reason I used the naff leaf-brush too) to sorta fill out the emptiness a bit, but if it's not to your taste, sorry about that! Thanks again for your comments tho.

You've done a fantastic job on this. Pallete is well suited. Some of the best stuff I've seen in The only thing I would lose is the leaf brush. It's a little intrusive. good balance of color, good texture. kudos to you sir.

Yeah, I just threw those leaves in because I needed *something* down there to balance the palette, and after spending way too long trying way too many different tricks without success, I pulled the leaves out as much in desperation as anything else. I'm not totally fond of it myself, but I may go back and spend some more time trying other stuff once I've had a bit of time away from the pic. Thanks for the seriously flattering comment tho, man!
