Lol thanks!! This is another one where I was scared of the colors. I always get timid when using cool and warm colors together, because I think the right shades have to be used to pull it off.

ah.. i see.. maybe i will discover what you mean.. im taking a color class this quarter.. so i have not yet understood warm and cool colors.. as of now i base my colors off emotion and feeling at the time of creation.. usually i dont have a color scheme plan.. la la la la la

Ooh color classes are so fun. I really enjoyed taking color theory in college. You learn about so many neat theories and principles behind colors. I didn't use to have a color scheme in mind, but my mom freaked me out! She's like "aren't you afraid you're going to mess up the colors?" I'm like...well now I am! So I plan it out on the computer really quick like with the paint bucket. The painting process does go a bit faster that way so that I'm not sitting there trying to figure out what colors to use for like 30 minutes lol. I hope you have a good time in your color class!

Thank you Starry! I'm so glad you think the cool and warm color mix worked. I did the sky first with the purples and blues, and then I was so scared when I put the first touch of bright orange and red down lol. I was like....this is going to look HORRIBLE! So I'm glad that you like it.

Lol sheesh I know!! Sometimes I panic as I'm putting the paint brush or ink pen to the paper....I'm like...if my hand moves one centimeter in the wrong direction, I could mess the whole thing up and waste 8 hours of work! I think the scariest part is when I go to re-ink the piece after I'm done and I'm re-inking the eyes. They're usually so tiny...it's frightening!

Every second on Inking is the worst. Its like *panic* - it has defintely gotten easier. I find browns pretty difficult to predetermine how well they will work.
Painting eyes, yes that too, since they are so much of the life of the painting! =3

Ugh agree totally with you on every point!!!!!! Browns....yuck. I usually try to avoid putting browns in my paintings because I can -never- get them right. They usually turn out looking too green, yellow, or orange. I found though that if you add red and black to a base brown color, it ends up being a nice pretty rich brown, and not the yucky green brown.
And eyes aaaaack! They freak me out so much. I think I redraw each eye like fifty times lol. Like you said, they are the life of the painting, so if they don't get drawn right, there's no chance for the rest of the painting lol. Lucky for you though, you draw such cute eyes!! I have yet to master the really cute eye. I will keep trying though!
