Description "Soon some of the plants were as big as fruit trees. There were fans of long emerald-green leaves, flowers resembling peacock tails with rainbow-colored eyes, pagodas consisting of superimposed umbrellas of violet silk. -- Some of the blooms looked like clusters of blue and yellow Japanese lanterns. And little by little, as the luminous night growth grew denser, they intertwined to form a tissue of soft light.
'You must give all this a name,' Moon Child whispered.
Bastian nodded.
'Perilin, the Night Forest,' he said."

It's a bit monochrome with all the blue - shouldn't there be more colors than that.
But Bastian is spot on. Love the turban and his somber expression.

You're right, there definitely should be more colours, and this had potential to be much better but when I was doing this the deadline was only a couple of days away so it came out like this. It's even more obvious with the last one but serve as a reminder I should never let that happen. *sigh* I'm still sort of new when it comes to most techniques and I slightly cringe when I see these now but perhaps it just means it's high time for me to post something new. Thank you so much for the comments, they mean a lot to me.

It's still far from being "bad". And it's very impressive that you managed to create something like this with a looming deadline.

You're welcome for the comments of course. I have to thank you for sharing so beautiful artworks.
