Concept art for a POSSIBLE... possible... possible... upcoming project that is simply titled "Runne" for the moment.With Dreigiau going to find a finish with the upcoming NaNo this year, it was suggested that I follow the characters and continue the story into the next world -- the world of Runne.
Now... IF I do get up the inspiration to take on another project (which I probably shouldn't), it won't be another NaNoWriMo novel. I'm taking a break from that after eight years in a row. And it won't be another comic -- Shimmer has proven that that kind of update demand doesn't get met at this point in my life. I'm fooling with a way to make it a blend of both. But I won't say much more than that right now.
So here we have a collage of some of the main faces we'd see on Runne. This doesn't include ALL of the characters. But it sure does note most of the important ones. Some may just be a little familiar...

Looks great as always Wren! I hope that eventually this does turn into something, weather it be a novel or something else I'm sure it'll end up awesome no matter what. The picture itself looks like a move poster or something. Which is just plain awesome.

I suppose Kip has a soft spot for them too... considering he started out as one, himself.
I actually almost drew Kip using daggers in this picture, too. Actually, the rough pencils were drawn that way... I couldn't decide if young-young streetrat Kip would use daggers or a staff. Since I couldn't decide, I chose to go with magic instead... since Kip was probably the only chance in the picture to get some magic effects in!

Fu and his father don't exactly have the best working relationship. If the story ever gets off the ground, you'll understand why. It's really pretty sad.

I'm unfamilliar with you and your work, but this caught my attention and I rally like it. Particularly... *traces name* SoYa? The middle in the background, I like him the best. It was his face that I happened to notice first.

Thank you very much! These are all existing characters (have been around for 8+ years), so when I put them together in a collage I said "Shoot! So much purple!"

Purple is the greatest of all colors, so I find absolutely nothing wrong with having a lot of it.

Teals and blues tend to be my favorite colors, but I find a lot of my characters go for a purple color scheme. Purple's a great color, too, so who am I to argue?
Oh, and about the character you noted in your first comment. Yes, you were right, that's SoYa. And I'm glad he stood out so much as he'd honestly be the lead character in the story... at least in the start. Probably why I chose to center him and make him the largest. So I guess that worked!
