Description Hermione...or at least a version of her that I am quite into at the moment. I'm visualising that she would go back to the school and teach one day and this would be that moment before she walks through those doors again.

I like the thought behind this picture. You've managed to capture a lot of emotion in her eyes, they're really beautifully done (art envy), and her whole expression. Her hair is lovely too. I find the stone wall a bit distracting, though. I think it could have been perhaps more out of focus, or more simply painted. Hermione is great though, she really captures the moment.

I tried about five different backgrounds for this, from a plain grey one to a really ornate vaulted ceiling and I had real problems with it. The wall seemed a compromise between them all, but I agree to an extent with your assessement of the background and if I get time I might play around with it and see what I can do.

This is very good and very life-like. She sort of reminds me of a Sigourney Weaver in a way. I think it might be the way she's looking up, her nose, jaw line, and eyes.

It looks as if she's saying to herself, "Yep, back again. Nothing has changed much." Or something like that. She doesn't really seem to be overjoyed or brooding, just thoughtful. I like it.
