Was trying to draw a particular pose for a job the other day and just could not get the hand right so decided it was time to get some more practice drawing hands. When it comes to things like this my weapon of choice is the photobooth app on my Mac. Sat there putting my hands in all these weird poses and this sketch sheet is the result. The weirdest one is the bottom left. It doesn’t ‘look’ right but it technically is. I don’t think I’d use this particular shot in any of my comic work ‘cos it’s too odd looking to make it dynamic but I thought I’d include it on this page anyway.

I really want to start putting more art on deviantart but time is so hard to come by, even during lockdown! So I think what I might do is try and post one page at a time at regular intervals and see if that works. Was thinking maybe on a Tuesday and a Friday perhaps, which gives me time to select and neaten up some warm ups etc and turn them into useful reference. I might even end up with enough to produce a book or something?
