Mother Nature controls all forces within our planet.There was a time however, when our beloved Mother grew weak.
She created a storm in anger.
But the storm had no wind, so the storm had no waves.
Her tears fell to Earth as the rain.
What use was she, if she was too weak to look after her realm?
She looked down upon the ocean.
"I must create a creature.
A creature powerful enough to manipulate the waters."
Thus, the king of the ocean was born.
"Orca, oh mighty Orca.
You create the waves, for you are the master of the sea.
I shall create the storm, for I am the master of the sky."
The splash was meant to look like a wave. -fail-

I like this piece because it involves my favorite whale (for those who need to b specific dolphin) the orca, and the details. Ocean scenes are one of my favorites and you did a really good job with the lightning. It made the orca look goddly.[link]

Oh, wow. This pose is remarkable and the energy in the whole work is just awesome. The clouds, the water, the reflection of the lightning ON the water, and the slick shimmer and markings on the orca are all fantastic. The only thing I would change is the lightning on the left curves more than its reflection, but other than that, BRAVO!

The colour highlights it verry well, and it's quite powerful when it comes to the scene, when you see the whale diving out of the water with the lightning in the background!

The light and the water look great (with light I am including the thunders). I love how you did the orca and the water that is around it give it sort of a movement, although I am not so sure if I like them or not. I like the splash though, it does look kind of like a wave that is going to be formed or something.
Anyways hoped this help, and if not, sorry for wasting your time. I'm not much of a critique person

But hey, I like it that way, as it portrays my story perfectly. The water should be completely calm, with no movement in it whatsoever, as the orca is the one to start the motion. That's the original concept I had to the piece.
So thank you for the compliments, but if you dislike that one part of the image, than I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to change it just because someone doesn't see it the way I do.

I completely understand that you won't change the picture just because one person didn't like a part of the image, I never actually thought you would change anything in the picture
And I think that the picture is perfect, because if you (the artist) like it, then it is just how it should be and nothing should be changed, since you were the one who made it, and if others don't understand your point of view, then bad for them.
Again, I never intended to offend either you nor your art, and I am sorry if I did, I just want to tell you that I really admire your art, and I would never be rude to you nor offend your art intentionally.

First of all, I love your story explaining this picture. And the picture itself is really a powerful representation of it. The whale is colored really, really well, highlights and everything. I like the indiscreet sparkles scattered over the splashes. And the splash is better than anything I could do so I'm calling it amazing, especially because of the detail on it.

OH MY WORD! now if i saw something liek this in real life i would be astonished as i am now! I mean this picture shows the beauty in creatures along with alot of pieces of your work. Some animals may seem ugly or weird but the way you put animals it makes them look marvelous well done! The lightning goes great with the orca whale jumping terrific
