Description
This series is a collaboration with bobascher , who developed the concept with me and wrote the story.
Alderaan heaved the plastic shell over the side of the catwalk. Down from the restraints came a very proud, strong woman. “Well, if that’s all stasis is like then Han is just a weak man.”
“What?” Leia asked.
“I can tell from that awful snowsuit, and that girl over there wearing her Brownie uniform, that you are me from the past. Neither of you have been through real loss yet. Although, Snowsuit, you come the closest.” Slave Leia confidently strode around the edge of the catwalk surveying the situation, “Have you tried your communicator to get a hold of the Millenium Falcon?”
“What! Han runs whenever things get hot,” Leia scoffed.
Slave Leia scoffed back, “Immature. You don’t know what love is and how scary it is for a man from Corellia to get attached to anything. Maybe a few more years of loss will teach you that...oh wait...it did. Either way, let’s get back to the question, did your communicator work?”
Leia looked down feeling like she was schooled by an older sister, “Uh...yes, I tried it. It did not work. All it would do was repeat sound clips that I don’t even remember saying.”
Slave Leia nodded, “Well, that’s odd but not unexpected. Do you see down there? It looks like there is some sort of command hub. Perhaps we could use it to holo a message back to the Resistance.”
Alderaan looks, “That seems really far away.”
Slave Leia grabs the back of her youngest twin, “It is down there, but I believe there is something else. Those people seem really short.”
Leia also observed, “They aren’t moving either. Perhaps they are also victims of this weird place. Let’s go, I’ll lead the way.”
