Description Konoha Future Sight 21

Shikamaru watched as the doors were sealed to the Vault of Forbidden Jutsu and it gave him some comfort knowing the contract scroll of Kumo’Honzar was now secure.  However there were so many things that still did not sit well with him and he had to figure it out.  He turned to Taurus, “Would you mind stopping by my house and telling my wife that I will be working late tonight?”
“It will be no problem Shikamaru-sama,” replied Taurus as he turned to walk away, “Any reason as to why…if she asks?”
“Just tell her my mind is clear and I know what I have to do.  That’s all that needs to be said without it being troublesome for you.”
Taurus nodded in acknowledgement as Shino simply stared for a few moments before leaving himself.  He wanted to tell his old comrades more but in all honesty he had nothing to tell them…yet.  Shikamaru marched to the hall of records and commenced to pull out all the village records for the past ten years spreading them out on the table in middle of the room.
He began to search for all documented movements of the Hyuuga clan no matter how small of an event and set them aside in a pile to themselves.  He then withdrew all papers chronicling the matters of the village council as well as both Hokage and set them into another pile.  Then the Nara clan leader pictured a shoji board before him with the piles of papers as the pieces for the board and he began to play the game.

The cult leader lumbered toward Turlis like a great charging ox deliberate in path and easily avoidable.  Taurus’s son jumped over the monstrous man using his attacker’s own body to handspring off of to safety but as he did he noticed something strange.  The faces that made up this strange armor began to bulge and resembled someone trying to hold in a mouthful of water.
The moment Turlis’ feet touched the ground he had to dodge again desperately because from the mouths on the armor launched high pressure streams of acid.  The young jounin danced and dodged his way from tree to tree doing his best to not get hit because the acid was burning through the trees faster than fire through dry grass.  Then he noticed this cultist was building up his chakra for a technique but there was little he could do about it and dodging the falling trees was becoming more difficult as well.
No matter what angle he used every mouth of that armor was spraying jets of acid from the faces that made up the back to the ones covering his forearms.  It was frustrating Turlis to no end so he withdrew from battle putting some distance between them to develop a quick strategy.  When he placed roughly about 50 meters between him and his foe he pulled two items from his tool pouch.
The first item was a special urn about the size of his fist called a Chakra Charger, developed by some of the top minds in Konoha and Suna.  This small container allows a shinobi to pour their chakra into it over time for later use and the amount of chakra each urn can hold is staggering.  Over the past year Turlis has filled eight of these containers and each one holds enough chakra to equal him opening all eight of his chakra gates.  The second item he took out was a large kunai, twice the size of normal and forged from the same blackened steel as his chest plate.
“Earth Element; Lord Jashin’s Unsheathed Wrathful Embrace,” calmly spoke the cultist before Turlis could utilize either item and very rapidly the ground began to up heave and break causing even more trees to topple over.  Then it all made sense the reason for the cultist being here just after the earthquake…he was the source!  This monster had caused the quake with this technique and Turlis could not allow him to do it again!
Turlis crushed the urn releasing the chakra held within and absorbed it into his body.  He cried out as his muscles bulged painfully and a blue aura exploded around him setting the leaves in his immediate vicinity on fire.  Taurus’ son then threw the kunai with all his might as he formed a series of twenty hand signs in the blink of an eye.  Truthfully this technique was an anti-army jutsu but he had to do something to stop him before the quake reached the villages.
“Black Kunai Hurricane Annihilation Jutsu,” screamed Turlis causing the one kunai to multiply into twenty, then that twenty grew into 400, and then finally fifteen meters from impact those 400 turned into 8,000.  When they reached their mark the sheer sound of all those impacts drowned out the sound of the earthquake…then there was silence.  Turlis’ knees buckled, his breathing was labored and his body was drenched in sweat as he leaned against a fallen tree as the fire began to spread through the fallen leaves.
His body was weakened from using so much chakra at once but that was the best thing about the Chakra Chargers is that you could pull off monstrous techniques like that and still have your normal chakra reserves left intact.  The forest floor was covered in black kunai but at least the earthquake had stopped.  Then slowly as the kunai began to vanish he could see the cultist’s body slumped over with the original kunai protruding from his skull directly between his eyes.
Turlis was actually about to breath a sigh of relief but quickly refrained from this action when he saw the Jashinist’s eyes open and focus directly on him.  The young jounin watched in horror as this monster of a man pulled the kunai from his head and tossed it aside while he stood to his feet.  At the very least he could try to take comfort in the fact that roughly a third of the faces on that diabolic armor had been destroyed by his attack.
“I knew you were a true poet of death,” hissed the cultist with a smile, “I am truly honored to face you because I believe Lord Jashin is showing me an example of what I must strive to achieve.  I must become like you an agent of death itself and spread the message of Jashinism throughout these pagan lands bringing the infidels to enlightenment or absolute death.”
“I will stop you…even if you are immortal,” commented Turlis as he stood to his feet moving away from the spreading fire.
“Oh really…you think you have any hope of stopping an immortal that has been given the ultimate gift from his master; the Armor of a Thousand Faces!  You are diluted boy and your thinking is corrupt but fear not I will purify you in death.”
Turlis said nothing else because he did not want to give away any information to this creature that could tip the scale to his favor.  In truth for the year that he trained with Master Nobuharu perfecting his skill he also spent time with another immortal learning the weaknesses of that immortality and if he did live through this encounter he would have to thank Kei-sama personally.  Turlis focused his chakra and began running toward his foe once more.
Taurus’ son however discovered another surprise as the remaining mouths of the armor opened up and 15 meter long barbed tongues shot out from them.  Turlis danced around them but not as well as he had hoped because the tongues moved at frightening speed almost too fast for him to follow.  Once again the young jounin had to put distance between them as his left arm, abdomen and right leg began bleeding badly from savage gashes.
Turlis could see the fire spreading quickly out the corner of his eye and if he did not end this soon he would not be able to escape.  The good thing was that he saw the same concern on his adversary’s face as well because no one is truly immortal when there is the danger their body will be consumed by fire.  Turlis dived into Kei-sama’s teachings, lesson one; you can defeat an immortal through dismemberment.  Turlis moved once again toward his foe forming hand signs, “Water Element; Hydron-Koi Head Cannon Jutsu!”
The moment Turlis finished the large orange and white head of a koi erupted from the ground and opened its mouth just ten meters from the cult leader.  Before the Jashinist leader could react, a high pressure stream of water burst forth from the fish’s mouth completely disintegrating his left arm.  Then as he screamed in agony Turlis jumped off the koi’s head and onto his enemy’s shoulders driving a kunai into his left eye and another one into the base of his skull.
However when the young jounin leap away the mouths on the back of the armor unfurled their tongues slashing Turlis across his back and buttocks.  One tongue even grabbed his right ankle severing the Achilles tendon just before slamming him into the trunk of a tree.  Turlis coughed up several mouthfuls of blood as he began to crawl away but he did not get far before another tongue wrapped around his left ankle destroying his other Achilles tendon for good measure.
Turlis shrieked in pain as the ability to walk was stripped away from him but he pushed through the pain and pulled himself to a tree to lean against.  When he stopped and turned around he was faced by another sight of horror.  Taurus’ son watched in shock as the tongues of the armor began to intertwine and mesh together forming a replacement arm for this monster of a man.
“You see your fight is in utter futility,” commented the cultist when he turned around with a sadistic grin covering his face as he pulled the kunai from his eye, “The armor replaces what you take away until I can graft another arm to my body.”
“It is impressive.”
“I’m glad you think so because soon you will be apart of this armor,” replied the Jashinist leader as the arm constructed from the tongues shot forth grabbing Turlis in a death grip and pulled the young jounin to him, “Rest assured you will help me fulfill Lord Jashin’s will because I am going to cut off your face along with the face of every villager and add it to this armor.”
“I’m sure…that’s possible,” replied Turlis gritting through the pain as the tongues forming the arm constricted him, “But…there’s one…question you…should ask yourself?”
“And what’s that,” asked the cultist as he loosened his grip.
“Where did my sword go,” inquired Turlis as the monstrous man finally noticed the sword this young man had used to cut down his followers with ease was gone and had not been there during their entire fight.  Then the cultist noticed a scene very puzzling as he witnessed Turlis’ blood turning to sand, “I told you I would guide you on your path to hell…now let me give you your ticket.”
“CURSE YOU SHINOBI!  CURSE YOU,” bellowed the Jashinist leader as his young opponent’s body turned to dirt crumbling in his massive hands revealing a total of twenty suicide detonation tags concealed within.
BA-DOOM!!!!!!
The sheer force of the explosion shook the entire mountain as a mushroom shaped cloud ascended into the heavens.  With the combination of the second earthquake and the colossal explosion an entire third of the mountain side gave way into a massive land slide burying all evidence of the cultists in the swamps below.  Turlis rested his hand on the hilt of his katana as he watched all of this from a safe distance, “Lesson two; an immortal can be defeated with massive explosions with suicide tags being the best course of action.”
Not only was Kei-sama right but his father was right when he had told him the more chakra a body double jutsu has the more damage it can take and the more realistic it looked.  However if it had not been for the two Chakra Chargers he had used during the fight he could not have pulled off the deception so well.  Although he sighed heavily at the fact it would take months and months of requisition forms to replace them…but it was worth it.
Before he returned to the village young Turlis made a vow on that very spot; he would utterly destroy Jashinist cultists wherever he found them until Jashinism was nothing more than a bad memory in a text book…and even then he would burn the books. Maybe such drastic measures were not called for but he had his orders; engage all cultists with extreme prejudice, a hatred beyond reason and after all he had to obey his orders.  However right now with severe exhaustion starting to set in he just wanted to get Sasuke-sama and go home so he vanished from sight like dust on the wind.

Hana watched as the bruises on her knuckles and small cuts on her forearm she received from training Anika healed before her eyes thanks to Kiyobi’s presence.  Honestly this tiny display was a welcome distraction to the heavy silence that now gripped the room she sat in.  She looked up from her seat when her husband placed his hand on her shoulder and he gave her a half smile just before he looked back toward their parents.
Naruto and Sakura both had sat perfectly still and silent staring blankly for ten whole minutes as their minds wrapped around this latest information about their children and the twelve tailed beast.  Then Naruto let out a small sigh as if he was going to say something but instead leaned back in his chair and stared out the window…in silence.  Hana felt like she could not take it anymore and decided to blurt out, “On a lighter note Ryuji-kun and I decided to stop hiding the fact that we’re married.”
Sakura and Naruto both suddenly snapped their heads forward and glared unnervingly toward the blonde haired kunoichi.  She gave a weak smile, “Don’t worry it can’t be traced back to you because we had another ceremony at the main temple in the Land of Snow with the new ruler presiding as a witness…we…we brought back official documents and everything.”
“That is so good to know sweetie,” spoke Naruto with a slight wheeze in his voice and a broad smile on his face that quickly faded, “BUT HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?  Are you trying to give your brother ammunition to use against you?  After all let’s not forget that my endearing son-in-law put a sword to his neck and threatened him tonight!”
“No offense Naruto-sama but I do not fear your wayward son and there was no way in hell I was going to let him threaten my mother without knowing the consequences that would come with such an action…and the exact same goes for any statement he makes against Hana-chan.”
“That’s admirable son but you must look at the bigger picture.  Kanaye is planning something huge and he almost made a fool out of all of us tonight.  We can not play into his hands and you two going public with your marriage could have dire consequences.”
“I know that mom but what kind of man would I be if I sat idly by in the shadows hiding in shame when I shouldn’t!  What would dad think about that!?”
Naruto and Sakura went silent once more as they looked at one another as thoughts of Sasuke flooded their minds.  Uchiha Sasuke was a man who made a great many mistakes and it was only after a great deal of pain that he realized those errors…but no matter what he always had his pride…his way of the ninja.  Naruto stood to his feet and walked over to Ryuji placing his only hand firmly upon the young man’s shoulder.
“Your father would scold us all for hiding…and (wheeze) it is something I can not do anymore, dattebayo.  (wheeze) But if we decide to do this we all have to be in agreement (wheeze) to stand together as a family…united.”
“Hell yeah screw that pompous windbag!  I’m the Hokage and I refuse to be intimidated, to be frightened or pushed around by Kanaye anymore!  We stand together as a family,” announced Sakura as she stood clinching her fist.
Hana wiped tears away from her cheeks as she stood too, “We’ll have a lot of obstacles to face but standing together we can make it…and I feel like the threat of the twelve tailed beast can…”
Her words were interrupted by the door suddenly swinging open wildly as Shikamaru burst into the room with a wild look on his face and papers clinched firmly in his hand, “I have that trash now!”
“What are you talking about?”
“It’s simple Sakura…I finally know what Kanaye is planning!”
