Cha'jya are an ancient race of minute subterranian elementals, that once channeled 3 powers. Each power became a tribe of sorts, for each major section of Spherus Magna- electricity for Bota Magna, plasma for Bara Magna and endothermics for Aqua Magna. After the Shattering, the cha'jya became nearly extinct, with the Bota variety being the most prominent.

The Bota cha'jya are powerful and unique weilders of electricity. Using magnetic friction inside their hollow and charged bodies, the elemental can store the immense voltage in the rock that forms their bodies, causing a bright yellow colour to form in the crystals that form their bodies. The bota breed also have webbed 'ears' on their flat heads.
Despite their power, the bota breed are cowardly and will use black light as a sort of smokescreen.
