Prompt #10 - Years. A bunch of people over at kurosaki_clinic expressed the desire for Hitsugaya to have a growth spurt. It was my plan all along to draw him "aged up" for the years prompt. I just don't think I did a very good job. I find it ironic that I made tutorials for this picture and I am on the verge of truly hating it. I can't put my finger on why. It's probably the proportions? I don't know, maybe I'm just feeling negative tonight. Anyway, I do kinda like the shading because I had no reference for it. I didn't have a reference for this pose at all actually. So yay for me? Then again it's not a crazy pose to do. Blah. At least this will inspire me to crank out another picture to get this off the front page. I got lazy and also couldn't stand to look at this picture anymore, so I just gave him a background similar to an older Renji picture of mine. )PS: And don't ask me what the hell it is he's wearing over his pants. I saw an anime or manga (can't remember) picture of Kenpachi wearing something similar, and I thought it looked pretty wacky. I really just wanted an excuse to play with more clothing folds, because I need to get better at them *shrug* ... and I'm on crack. That always explains everything.

props to you! i can't draw people or bleach characters for crapp, and u did a great effort in making hitsugaya look older, it's just he is so frickin' cute when he is his regular age! so it is REALLY hard making him look older

His torso is very, very, very long. Other then that, it's great. Love his face and the sash thingy around his waist. His expression is awesome, looks like he may want to hit someone over the head for shear stupidity.

Anyway, It's a lovely pic. I also find it funny that he's by all this graffiti like he's a gangsta, but we all know he isn't.

Ahhhhhhhhh!!! That part just KILLED me! That WHOLE episode, I was just waiting... and waiting... and waiting... because, ohhhh, this is just Jayne's thing, isn't it? There's a guy on the ship, and he's threatening people, and Jayne can take him out without Mal holding him back, and oh that would be SPECTACULAR, he'd be in his ELEMENT, and Jubal Early versus Jayne Cobb would be a great battle--both professionals, both of questionable morality... And they purposely led you into thinking that, because it WOULD be such a great scene, and they kept cutting back to Jayne in his bunk... and then, yeah, that scene where he pulled the blanket down, I seriously cheered--and then groaned. Typical Joss, I guess, building to this moment and then, when the moment finally seems to have come, he does the exact opposite. I love it.
Do you remember the scene where Jayne joins the crew? Mal offers him a room, and Jayne shoots his former leader. Haha, great scene.
I think my favorite series of scenes, though, is when they're being interviewed in the one when they rescue the guy off the ship that had been hit by reavers and then they get captured by an Alliance cruiser. The guy's interviewing them, and Kaylee just goes off about how Firefly isn't junk, junk is a ship where you have to reroute something or other just "so's to avoid asphyxiating your entire crew", and Shepherd Book gets philosophical about moral boundaries in the loneliness of space, and Zoe is all tight-lipped and doesn't see how her marriage is any of the Alliance guy's business--"we're very private people"--and then Wash goes off about her legs, and the part where her legs meet her back, pretty much that whole area, that and above it, and Inara is just her collected self, talking about the business advantages of flying with Mal's crew, and then Jayne. Jayne just sits there, arms folded, and glares at the Alliance guy. Then he taps his fingers.
