this is one of the pics i popped at the VW show we just attended.this beetle has a 350 V8 powerplant under the hood. its a fuggin monster. all custom, and tubbed - got a drag setup. and get this - the owner lets his 16 y/o daughter drive this thing to highschool every morning. ugh. die.
the custom job behind it is a beetle with a handmade wrought-iron chassis. looks like a kinda neat lawn-ornament (instead of those stupid little dwarf things and pink flamingos), but i dont think it would be too much fun to drive in the rain, seeing as it doesnt even have a windshield.

i've got one vw beetle its 69, though is getting rotten in my backyard cuz i have not saved enough money to overhaul it.. but i would not stuck a V8 under the hood of my beetle it would break the whole shit apart lol!

If ya like that, U otter love my creation. 1970 VW beetle, HEAVY chassis mods. Making it a 2 seat coupe roadster. No top, chopped window, 1940's Ford sold axle that pushes the front wheels forward about 18".

that is effing CRAZY. It would be difficult to hold that thing on the road with that much power. Nevermind trying to keep the tires from spinning in the rain. Thanks for posting this. I love old and custom cars.

I don't know much about cars. Just which ones I think look good. And that looks fucking awesome. The car behind is so damn creative. I would love to be seen in that. But you're right, not in the rain.
