Description TWC this week: three pug moon.

Sedna, from TG. A more modern version of him. <3
(Poor Sedna. I know some of you are doubters, but I swear he's a wolf man. Not a wolf woman. XD)

This is an appropriate first upload for 2012 because one of my resolutions is to sketch more random stuff this year. :< 2011 was severely lacking in random stuff sketching time.

For who requested a drawing of Sedna in exchange for her old kindle. XD A REALLY GOOD DEAL, IN MY OPINION....

Alders are my favorite tree. You try to pull one out of your lawn, and you succeed, but a year later there are 20 more to replace it. O_o I once knew an alder that had grown out the side of a dirt bank. It was a completely horizontal tree and loads of fun to climb on. 8D I also like the derpy little pine cones alders make.

He's just a very pretty wolf man... (Seriously he does look like a man, it was just hard to tell initially in the comic due to the fluff level.)

I love the sense of movement with the tree and Sedna. The white areas and lighting accents also really pull the sketch together.

Yes they are SO derpy! I love them! <3 The alders I've seen are such amusing trees, mostly growing close in with conifers. In order to choke out the conifers and make a little spot in the sun, the alders must grow in a clusterfuck too dense for anything else to take root.

It's a tree with serious issues. Strength in numbers and imitation pine cones.

lol, poor Sedna. Always a girl until proven to be a guy. XD Even his voice is very gender nonspecific. He isn't very tall, and his face is so pretty. As the story progresses, his personality becomes more and more Man to make up for his physical lack of Man. Except for where it counts, of course. That part is a source of pride.
