Yes, I've seen the Sonic trailer. Yes, I don't have the highest hopes for it, but I think it might be fun at least.
Super Mario's movie is a guilty pleasure, and this one might wind up one also, so I did a fun mash up of baddies.
Update: And a year later, the Sonic movie is way past cool, doing gangbusters (certainly helps they updated the movie design into a more familiar Sonic), and I was asked to do a colored version of this as a commission:Β www.deviantart.com/blueike/artβ¦

Jim Carrey has been famous hilarious actor in Ace Aventera, the Mask, I think it's Cable Guy and Series of Unfortunate Event movie.
I see he's in the movie as Robonik but it's better to stay that name..if he's Eggman it makes no sense.Β

Normally I try to look on the brighter side of things, but this...I'm actually slightly on the fence about.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm just as glad as the next guy that we're getting a live-action Sonic movie, but compared to others like, say, Detective Pikachu...

For the finale thoug. The rest of the film looks like he's a mustache Matrix. But he still looks cool wether or not he's in it for a long time.

...I see Snively next to the two bruisers {assuming that is him?} but who is the Goomba and Lizard and oooooh- Its The Super Mario Bros Movie Cast. This works in its own way. I like how you gave the other main henchman dude a more Koopatastic look than his unfortunate partner there going all Goombashed.Β
Randy Cunningham as Sonic, a shoob move, besides the other, obvious, glaring eye sores. The mechs looking like some kind of realistic 06 bots is, marginally a good thing.

They picked a great voice for Sonic also, though his design is still kinda... iffy.
