Description
Legends say the lovers would meet in the wood. The girl would blow her horn so he could easily find her. One day he didn't come. Was he hurt? Dead? Perhaps he found someone else?Every day she would go to the wood and call for him until her grief and unanswered questions overwhelmed her. She could go on no longer without him. She had lost her will to live and soon died.
No one knows what became of the young man but every once in a while the sound of a horn blowing in the wind is heard.
She seeks for eternity...

You did a wonderful job of rendering her spirit; and I can almost hear her horn, the lost and forgotten notes echoing, shifting on the swirling motes of sunset light, making their way to the faint stars above....

I guess it's just my projection of the sad story, but she seems so worn and fragile, as if she's been there for many, many years. I love the colours, and the shafts of light. Beautiful!
