Description
Stand back boys and girls. Omega’s about to let loose a significant chunk of his payload, and thanks to Silver here, there isn’t a thing the poor chump on the receiving end of this beatdown can do about it. Silver is just saying what everyone in the crowd is thinking.
*cue explosions*
I was all giddy while I was drawing this one. For starters, I never get to draw Omega. For whatever reason, my bro always gets that end of the stick. Even though I’ve got extensive experience with Gamma, Metal and Badniks, E-123 more often than not eludes me. His build is a bit different, but he still sticks to his guns (lol) and has many of the same pieces as Gamma… just a lot bulkier is all.
I got to play around with some lighting effects too. I went with a cartoonish foreshadow, to be a bit ominous about the catastrophic levels of damage about to be inflicted here, but at the same time I got to contrast that with Silver’s energy aura. It makes for a cool effect. Drawing Silver can be intoxicating. There is so much stuff to play with.
Okay, so that was a good spot of practice. Still need to work on some other special effects, but I feel like I am getting back into the swing of things at a decent clip.
Hmmm, just thinking out loud here, but everyone in the crowd may actually be well inside Omega’s blast radius. He’s never one to worry about collateral damage, but hopefully Silver will be able to contain the fallout. Yikes.
